The site

Sketch looking at the grain and density of this part of the city. Each building is drawn as one line reflecting the depth of the building. The grain and density of various areas is clearly visible. Rye Lane can be seen as the only strong north south structure. The small buildings along the shopping street have been extended over time to fully cover their gardens.
